Family fun this Easter in Slough, Brentford, Uxbridge and Isleworth

At Space Station self storage we’re gearing up for a busy Easter. With lots of house moves, springtime de-cluttering and students utilising our self storage facilities in all branches, there’s plenty going on.

As a business with its heart in the communities all around us, we’re also excited by all that’s happening in the area this Easter. Here, we’ve compiled the best of what’s on over the holiday period near our branches in Slough, Isleworth, Uxbridge and Brentford.

Easter Events for all the family

Easter days out in Slough

•If you’re looking for some springtime fun with a twist, head to Norden Farm near Maidenhead, where a Springtime Festival will be running every day throughout the holidays. Featuring craft activities, Japanese storytelling, family shows - plus screenings of classic films, there’s plenty going on! For more information, visit

• More Easter fun continues at Snowball Farm with their Easter Show taking place on 21st April. With a Gymkhana, dog show and an Easter parade, it’s set to be a grand day out. *Please note, entries are only open to clients and liveries of the Farm.

•Fancy engaging in a traditional family day out? Then head to Windsor Great Park for an extra special Easter carriage ride. Setting off from the beautiful Savill Garden. Put the cherry on the cake with a delicious lunch or afternoon tea from Leith’s Catering before or after your ride.

Easter events in Isleworth

•What’s Easter without an egg hunt? Head to the majestic Osterley House for a fun-packed day of exploration, with trails leading to Cadbury’s treats taking place all day, every day over the Easter weekend. Find out more by clicking here.

•As for some educational fun, The London Museum of Water and Steam promises a good time at their Spring Grand Steam Up from the 18th – 21st April. Celebrate Easter with the popular bonnet-making activity before heading off on an egg hunt, as well as soaking up plenty of knowledge about London’s past, including a visit to the Museum’s locomotive and Victorian fire engine too. 

•Hounslow Libraries are organising a wealth of Easter Crafts for children aged 5+ throughout Easter. Admission is just £1.00 / 50p for library members, and places for sessions can be booked at your local library.

Family fun in Uxbridge

•If you love arts and crafts and fancy taking in some inspiration (in case of an Easter weekend wash-out), head to the Uxbridge Craft Market, which takes place on every Wednesday of the break. Situated in the Pavillion Shopping Centre, the market features arts, crafts, gifts, food , community stalls and collectables – and is the perfect place to find that special Easter gift. •Running until Wednesday 23rd April, Easter Crafts can be found at Colne Valley Park – perfect for keeping your little ones occupied this holiday. With a designated craft area and activity bags starting from just £1, children can have a go at some Easter or wild craft projects, as well as getting involved with Mini Beast Madness and a Scavenger Boat Race. •Take a trip to the local fun fair for some bumper family fun, which will be found at Minet Park throughout Easter weekend from 2pm-8pm.

What’s on in Brentford

•Get stuck in to some egg-citing Easter Activities at WWT London Wetland Centre, running throughout the Easter weekend. Children will love the farmyard ducks and there’ll be the opportunity to take part in the games arranged, or go for your own waddle around the reserve to spot some wild ducklings. •Last but certainly not least - for the ultimate Roald Dahl adventure, head to Kew Gardens this Easter, where there will be a host of fabulous activities, sights, tastes and more in celebration of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s 50th birthday.
